Jeannotte's Grocery Store Damaged When Car Crashes Into Building

NASHUA, NH – Nashua fire, police, and AMR Ambulance were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident, with one car reported to have struck Jeannotte’s Market Monday.

The first arriving crews on Manchester Street found two cars with heavy damage, and one struck the side of the building. The propane tank exchange storage unit, trash can, and side of the building were damaged. Firefighters cut the lock on the storage unit and removed some tanks that were potentially damaged.

AMR ambulance medics evaluated the occupants of both vehicles, one person was transported with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

A representative of Jeannotte’s responded and opened the store for Nashua Fire. The building was struck hard enough that it damaged the inside wall and pushed a cooler away from the wall.

The store will be inspected by the Nashua Building Department to confirm there was no major structural damage.

The accident investigation is being handled by Nashua Police.

Jeannotte’s known as Nashua’s oldest grocery store recently on Facebook announced selling their one-millionth sub.
