The Pembroke Academy JV girls’ basketball team defeated ConVal, 41-26. Jackie Belanger was Pembroke’s high scorer with 10 points, while Ireland Baines added nine.
■The Pembroke Academy JV boys’ basketball team fell to 4-3 on the season with a 66-53 loss to ConVal. Evan Berkeley had 25 points for the Spartans. Owen Stewart scored 11 and Mason Gagne chipped in eight.
■The Pembroke Academy boys’ reserve basketball team beat ConVal, 48-27. Joshua Goyette led the Spartans with 23 points. Ethan Fredyma and Zach Al-Shawfi scored eight points each.
■The Merrimack Valley JV boys’ basketball team(4-1) defeated Laconia, 47-28. After a slow start, the Pride outscored Laconia 19-6 in the second quarter and never looked back. MV was led by Logan Gabour (10 points) with help from Mingso Lawati and Abhi Karki (five points each).
■The Hopkinton girls’ JV basketball lost to Mascoma in overtime, 37-34. Zoe Bishop, Beth Taylor, Emily Nemeth and Grace Lasher led the Hawks on offense.
The Rundlett girls’ ‘B’ basketball team lost to Woodbury Middle School, 32-31. Bailey Cassin led the Blue Dukes with 19 points. Kiley Taylor chipped in four points. Jillian Barry handled the full court pressure well.

Everett Arena public ice skating hours will be Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday hours are from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday hours will also be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission will be $6 for skaters and free for children ages 3 and under.
